About

Anigna Design Studio

Hey! I'm Angelica, a freelancer specializing in modern and soft-minimalist architecture & interior design.

I hold a degree in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a Master’s in Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona.

This multidisciplinary background allows me to approach each project with both creative vision and analytical precision.

My work is guided by the pursuit of balance—between form and function, aesthetics and comfort.

Based in Dubai (UAE) & Marbella (Spain), I develop curated spatial layouts, refined 3D visualizations, and tangible interiors that embody harmony, timelessness, and a sense of calm. Each project is an opportunity to enhance the quality of everyday living by thoughtfully designed space.

So, let's make this world a better place together.

From concept to realization, I offer a holistic design process that unifies architecture, interiors, and visualization into one calm, coherent experience.

Process

A clear sequence—grounded in discovery, refined through design, realized with care. Each phase has its own rhythm, deliverables and decisions.

For every project
From first conversation to handover.

Hover or tap a stage to see exactly what you receive, how long it usually takes, and how we collaborate.

Tip: we can compress or expand each stage depending on the project scale and your timeline.
Stage 01
Concept & Discovery
We begin by understanding your life, brand or project story—then crystallize it into a spatial concept.
  • Kick-off meeting (online or in-person) to review goals, budget and timeline.
  • Site / apartment study: orientation, light, constraints and opportunities.
  • Functional diagrams and first zoning of spaces.
  • Concept development and visual benchmarks to align taste and atmosphere.
  • Preliminary layout options, with pros & cons of each scenario.
You receive
Concept deck (PDF), moodboard, 1–2 layout options with notes.
Typical duration
~1–2 weeks from first briefing, depending on project size.
Collaboration
Online calls, shared reference boards, comments directly on layouts.
Stage 02
Design Development
We deepen the concept into architecture and interiors: plans, materials, lighting and joinery form one coherent language.
  • Refined floor plans with furniture, circulation and storage.
  • Key elevations and sections for important walls and volumes.
  • Material & finishes palette: floors, walls, ceilings, textiles.
  • Lighting plan: general, accent and decorative fixtures.
  • 3D views and visualizations to validate mood and proportions.
You receive
Updated layouts, elevations, 3D previews, material palette and a structured feedback round.
Typical duration
~2–4 weeks with intermediate check-ins for comments.
Collaboration
Iterative reviews, screen-share sessions, adjustments based on your feedback.
Stage 03
Realization & Support
We translate the design into precise documentation and support you and your team during execution.
  • Technical drawings: plans, sections, elevations and details.
  • Detailed drawings for custom joinery and built-in furniture.
  • Recommendations for finishes, fixtures and furniture (FFF).
  • Clarifications for contractors and suppliers as needed.
  • Optional styling and final layer consultation after construction.
You receive
Construction-ready drawings, schedules and reference images for implementation.
Typical duration
Varies with project scale; often 2–6 weeks in parallel with contractor planning.
Collaboration
Email / call support, mark-ups on contractor drawings, optional site visits (where feasible).

FAQ

A few common questions about working together. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to ask in your inquiry.

I am based between Dubai (UAE) and Marbella (Spain), and I work with clients worldwide. Most projects are managed remotely via calls, shared documents and visualizations.

Most of my projects are fully remote. We collaborate through video calls, email, and shared folders, and I provide drawings and 3D visuals that can be used locally by your contractors.

Absolutely. I often design both the architectural layout and the interiors, so that structure, light, materials and furniture feel coherent and calm as one space.

Absolutely. I often design both the architectural layout and the interiors, so that structure, light, materials and furniture feel coherent and calm as one space.

Each project is priced individually, depending on its size, complexity and scope (architecture only, interiors, full package, or visualization). After our initial discussion and a review of your plans or brief, I prepare a tailored proposal with a clear breakdown of stages and fees.

If you share a few details in the contact form—location, approximate area and timeline— I can also give you an estimated fee range for your specific case.

Sure — we can work through Upwork. Upwork is a trusted global freelance platform that handles contracts, communication, and secure payments. I offer both fixed-budget projects as well as hourly collaboration at $40/hour.

For larger or well-defined scopes, a fixed price is usually the most efficient. For smaller tasks, ongoing consulting or visualization requests, the hourly model works well. Just let me know your preference when you inquire.

Ideally, as early as possible—before major construction decisions are fixed. However, I can join at different stages: from early concept to interior re-design and visualization.

For nearby projects, I may be able to visit in person. For international projects, I usually provide remote support—reviewing contractor drawings, answering questions and giving feedback on photos from site.
